At the end of each module participants have to pass a mandatory online test that has to be submitted to the University of Zurich. Only participants who passed the four module tests will have access to the Certificate Exam at the end of the Programme.
The written multiple-choice Module Test is deemed to have been passed if a minimum of 60% of the questions were answered correctly.
The Test is open the week before the end of the module and remains accessible for the week starting the following module, therefore participants may take the test over a period of two weeks.
Module Tests are graded and can be re-taken only once and passing the Test is needed to have access to the contents of the following module.
The certificate exam will include questions based on the seminars and e-learning modules.
The exam be held using computers prepared by the University of Zurich (not participants’ personal laptops) and it can only be taken at Seminar 3 of the Programme.
The written multiple-choice Certificate Examination is deemed to have been passed if a minimum of 60% of the questions were answered correctly. The grades are as follows:
6 = excellent, 100%
5,5 = very good, 90% or more;
5 = good, 80% or more but less than 90%;
4,5 = satisfactory, 70% or more but less than 80%;
4 = pass, 60% or more but less than 70%;
3,5 = fail, less than 60%.
Failed examination may be re-taken once but only within the time of attendance of Seminar 3, or during the next Programme Seminar of the following cohort.
