Arab Countries programme

This clinically oriented residential educational programme (ESO Masterclass) has been designed for dedicated medical or clinical oncologist who wish to improve their skills in the management of cancer patients as well as to prepare themselves for the national board exam. This Masterclass intends to expose participants to a full spectrum of issues in medical or clinical oncology and to practice-oriented training. The programme focuses on lung, colorectal, breast, gynecological and prostate cancer as well as on lymphomas.
The teaching format consists of plenary lectures referring to the state-of the-art of the diagnostic and therapeutic management of cancer patients. Teaching is based on current oncology guidelines and it concludes in take-home messages. Furthermore, practical training will be offered in the frame of clinical case discussion sessions. Participants will deliver case presentations and discuss with the faculty and the audience.
Participation is compulsory throughout the event. The Masterclass will be entirely in English without simultaneous translation. Therefore, an adequate level of English language is necessary for admission.

Ideal partecipant profile:
- Age below 40 years
- At least 2-3 years experience in medical or clinical oncology
- Involvement in scientific activities (preferable)
- Sufficiency in English
