Cancer Disparities Programme

Evidence shows significant outcome differences in terms of survival and access to care between Eastern and Western Europe. For many years, the European School of Oncology has strategically focused on the Eastern Europe and Balkan region with its dedicated programme to help reduce this gap. ESO is still committed to continue this mission but the focus will no longer be based on specific geographical areas but on leveling disparities wherever they exist by providing education on the multidisciplinary approach to care for cancer patients.
From now on, the ESO Masterclasses, Refresher courses and Visiting Professor meetings will be open to all doctors and nurses. Participants will be selected according to their application and not their country of origin.
ESO also plans to implement further intervention models in specific areas where disparities are high and collect measurable results.

Don't miss out on other ESO opportunities.
