Description

Dear Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure for us to host the seminar on Breast and Cervical Cancer in June 2005 in Georgia. Tbilisi, a city with strong historic, cultural and scientific history is ready to provide the venue for active dialogue between professionals in this field.

This event will be a tangible contribution in developing European ties and in general will seriously support Georgia’s European aspirations.

We highly appreciate the cooperation and interest of ESO and the decision to select Georgia for this seminar.

From the Georgian side this initiative was supported by the Ministry of Heath and Social affairs, the National Cancer Center, the Cancer Prevention Center and the whole medical community.

In addition, by bringing together countries of the South Caucasus - Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, ESO is expanding its geographic coverage, which will undoubtedly contribute to increasing the quality of medical care in the whole region.

We consider this seminar as a great opportunity for clinical oncologists of the South Caucasus to deepen their knowledge and develop professional local expertise based on the best experience of their EU partners.

We are confident that our joint efforts will help us to overcome the challenges in the world of oncology.

Sincerely yours,

Rema Gvamichava
