Description
This course is organised by the European School of Oncology in collaboration with the Instituto Especializado de Enfermedades Neoplásicas (INEN) and Fundaleu, and is designed to help healthcare professionals build their knowledge on malignant lymphomas, cervical cancer, gastric cancer and gallbladder cancer.
The conference will provide the latest information on issues related to malignant lymphomas, gastric cancer and cervical cancer, reclassification, epidemiology in developing countries, molecular biology, and management. The course will emphasize the multidisciplinary aspects of treatment for these types of cancer, offering case discussions relevant to attendees clinical practices, and contribute to the rapid translation of basic science into clinical practice.
The course is intended for surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurses and other clinicians.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have state of the art knowledge of: Predictive biological factors in lymphoid malignancies; Role of the viral load in the development of cervical cancer; Epidemiology of helicobaeter pylori in gastric cancer and gallbladder cancer in Latin America, among others.
