INTRODUCTION
The Women’s cancers course will focus on the incidence and mortality of these malignancies, comparing the worldwide data with the percentages in Balkan countries, with the ultimate goal to improve the results in the region, from screening to oncologic treatment outcomes, and psychosocial support. The lecturers will be experts in their respective fields, and the participants will get new, updated knowledge and current guidelines, which would greatly help them to resolve the dilemmas they are faced with in their everyday work, both in screening and diagnosis, and in oncologic treatment approaches as well. An outline will be presented of new targeted therapies, already a part of good clinical practice, or those expected in the near future.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Improve knowledge on women cancer data on a worldwide basis (incidence, prevalence, mortality...) compared to the data for the Balkan region
• Update on the current guidelines concerning breast cancer screening and screening of cervical cancer; early diagnosis of breast cancer; cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancer; genetic profiling; hereditary women cancers; oncologic treatments (surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy)
• Discuss resolution of the most common everyday practice dilemmas through clinical cases
• Improved knowledge on the psychosocial aspects of women’s cancers

MAIN TOPICS
• Breast cancer
• Gynecologic cancer (cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancer)
