The Refresher Course on Gastro-intestinal Cancer organized under the auspices of the Hungarian Society of Clinical Oncology has been designed for medical and clinical oncologists who have attended a previous edition of the Eastern Europe and Balkan Region Masterclass in Medical/Clinical Oncology and other practising oncologists of the region with the aim to provide an update on the state-of-the-art therapeutic options as well as an overview of the latest advances in the field.
The programme will offer educational lectures covering updates on the diagnosis and treatment. Practical training will be offered in the frame of clinical case presentations, prepared and presented by participants and discussed with the faculty with interactive voting.


LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Update on the latest advances in diagnostic procedures
• Update on the latest advances and on the state-of-the-art treatment options
• Learn about the management of specific situations
• Debate controversies and challenges in gastro-intestinal cancer treatment
• Improve practical skills in multidisciplinary management and follow-up of gastro-intestinal cancer patients
