The Refresher Course on Breast Cancer has been designed for medical and clinical oncologists who have attended a previous edition of the Eastern Europe and Balkan Region Masterclass in Medical/Clinical Oncology and other practicing oncologists of the region with the aim to provide an update on the state-of-the-art therapeutic options as well as an overview of the latest advances in the field of breast cancer.
The programme will offer educational lectures covering updates on the diagnosis and treatment of both early and advanced breast cancer. Moreover, spotlight lectures will discuss specific issues related to particular situations such as breast cancer in young women or survivorship issues.
Practical training will be offered in the frame of clinical case presentations, prepared and presented by participants and discussed with the faculty with interactive voting.

• Update on the latest advances and on the state-of- the-art treatment options
• Learn about the management of specific situations
• Debate controversies and challenges in breast cancer treatment
• Improve practical skills in multidisciplinary management and follow-up of breast cancer patients
• Receive insights on the best approaches in organizing breast cancer care (breast cancer units)

The Refresher course on Breast Cancer is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
The Refresher course on Breast Cancer is granted with 9 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
