This clinically oriented two-day residential course is designed for young clinical, medical and radiation oncologists who wish to receive an up-to-date training in management of gastrointestinal (GI) cancer, including cancers of the oesophagus, stomach, colorectal and
pancreas. Distinguished speakers with the best available expertise are invited to participate in the course. The programme focuses on systemic therapy as well as on multidisciplinary approach with reference to clinical guidelines. Plenary lectures will address different aspects of prevention and molecular pathology of GI malignancies whereas spotlight sessions will cover the issues of immunotherapy, management of GIST and neuroendocrine tumours , gastric lymphoma and cancer of unknown primary. The course will be entirely in
English therefore at least an intermediate knowledge of English is necessary for admission.
All participants will reside at the course venue and participation is compulsory throughout the course.


LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Update knowledge in the management of gastrointestinal malignancies
• Deep focus on systemic treatment of stomach, colorectal and pancreas cancers
• Update knowledge in new modalities of systemic treatment of GI cancers particularly in the field of immunotherapy
• Update in the management of rare non-epithelial gastrointestinal tumours
