Important information
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis we have made the decision to postpone the Residential Course - Clinical Oncology: Head and Neck Cancers, Uveal Melanoma, Rare Skin Cancers. We will be in contact with more details about this as soon as they are confirmed.
We deeply regret having to take this decision but we feel that in the current climate we all need to do our part in trying to limit the diffusion of the virus as much as possible and this was the only decision possible considering your role in society as medical staff.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused but we think you’ll all agree that this solution was unavoidable.
Description
Scientific Coordinator: L. Licitra, IT
This residential course on head and neck cancers is aimed at an international audience of clinical oncologists interested in advancing their knowledge and skills in the clinical management of these tumors, within a multidisciplinary context.
“Networking” is the key to improving the quality of care for rare cancers, therefore the course is developed in the framework of EURACAN, the European Reference Network on rare adult solid cancers, with the aim of reinforcing the collaboration among oncologists from different countries who are already part of the network or willing to join in the near future.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- To provide an overview of current multidisciplinary state-of-the-art treatment of head and neck cancers
- To discuss relevant clinical cases on a multidisciplinary basis
- To establish connections for future distance clinical mentoring/tutoring/networking
The residential course on head and neck cancers is an ESO - EURACAN joint initiative |
