ESO Ambassadors
ESO’s Ambassadors are a distinguished group of oncology professionals who have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the mission and vision of the European School of Oncology. Through their extensive involvement in ESO's educational initiatives over the years, they have acquired substantial expertise and experience. This enables them to represent the School within their respective countries, promoting ESO's values, educational programmes, and contributing to the global oncology community. These ambassadors play a key role in enhancing ESO's outreach and impact by fostering local engagement and supporting the dissemination of oncology education and practices.
ESO has carefully selected Ambassadors to represent the School in countries where our presence is most significant and within the geographical boundaries of our educational reach. However, there are still some countries where we currently do not have an Ambassador. We are actively seeking to fill these positions to ensure that our mission and educational initiatives are effectively represented and promoted in those regions. Our goal is to expand our network of Ambassadors to enhance our impact and further support the oncology community.
The role that each Ambassador will carry out includes:
- representing ESO on a National level (meetings, conferences, congresses),
- helping the School establish connections with national oncology associations and residency programmes,
- promoting ESO activities via their professional networks (social media, oncology groups, etc),
- being available when needed, to provide the School with first-hand information on oncology in their country.
- being present, if available at ESO events taking place in their country,
