Multidisciplinary Genitourinary (Urological) Tumors Unit

Programme description

This programme is intended to allow the student to immerse in the multidisciplinary management of urological tumours including mainly kidney, bladder, prostate and testicular tumors. Therefore, the students will be involved in all the diagnostic procedures as well as the standard staging procedures. The students will presentially work with all different specialist as a multidisciplianry team, will attend to Urological Cancer Tumour Board in which clinical decisions are made. Students will shadow the consultants involved in the therapeutic management of these patients involving all different treatment options.
