The European School of Oncology (ESO) supports clinical institutes in organising Visiting Professorship Meetings (VPM) — tailored educational events designed to strengthen local expertise and clinical knowledge in oncology.
A renowned Visiting Professor, selected for their expertise in a specific tumour type or discipline, delivers lectures and participates in clinical case discussions, designed around the specific needs of the host institution and its region.

Would you like to host a Visiting Professor at your institute?
Before applying, please ensure the following:
- Your institute is a recognised centre of excellence in clinical oncology
- Your medical team is committed to attending and actively participating in the full meeting
- You are able to co-develop the programme with the Visiting Professor, including lectures and clinical case discussions
- The educational meeting will be conducted in English and lasts 1.5 day
