Meet the ESO Faculty

The ESO Faculty is a multidisciplinary and international group of oncology professionals who contribute their time and expertise to ESO’s educational mission. The Faculty includes experts from across Europe and beyond, covering all major oncology specialties. For each event, ESO also involves local faculty to ensure the relevance of the content to the specific clinical and cultural context. ESO Faculty members are not paid for their participation in ESO events— they choose to support the ESO Mission voluntarily, driven by a shared commitment to improving cancer education and patient outcomes.

The ESO Faculty serves as the gateway to the ESO College Faculty. Members who have actively contributed to at least five ESO educational activities are awarded with the title Honorary Faculty of the ESO College, acknowledging their sustained dedication and inspirational impact.

This distinguished group of professionals not only upholds the School’s mission but also plays a vital role in mentoring, developing educational content, and driving strategic initiatives within the College. Their ongoing engagement is instrumental in advancing the ESO Educational Pathway and cultivating a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive learning environment.
