Cancer Clinica Universidad de Navarra

The Cancer Center Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CCUN) is an academic medical center that integrates -in its two locations in Pamplona and Madrid- the healthcare, research and teaching cancer activities of the Universidad de Navarra as a whole. The mission of the center is to integrate, coordinate and promote medical care, research and training in oncology through a comprehensive and interdisciplinary vision.

CCUN began its journey in 2018 as a joint initiative of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, the Cima Universidad de Navarra research center and the biomedical schools of the University of Navarra, although it reflects the evolution of more than 40 years of experience in cancer at our academic institution. The center comprises 210 medical specialists and 115 nurses fully devoted to deal with more than 3,000 new cancer patients every year, and 241 full-time researchers focused on cancer projects.

The hospital is an accredited university hospital by the Ministers of Health and Education of Spain for the residency-training program (MIR) in medicine, pharmacy, biology and physics of 30 different health-professional specialties certifications. It is also accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), is recognized as an Integrated Oncology Center in Palliative Care by the European Society of Medical Oncology and is a full member of the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI).

Successful candidates will be required to provide CCUN with the following documents before taking part in the fellowship:
